Updates: Secondary Schools

The last week saw over 2,000 edits made to our Ingenium data, in areas including Emergency Services, Universities, Central and Local Government, and the NHS and Clinical Commissioning Groups. Our major area of research this week however has been Secondary Schools, with over 550 edits to our data made. Schools can be a difficult area to contact as only certain information is easily publicly available. However, recent updates to our Secondary Schools data include:

> 60 outdated contacts removed from the database
> 190 new contacts added, the majority of which are senior contacts such as headteachers and deputy headteachers
> 40 updates to contact names
> 27 changes to data on the size of schools
> 17 updates to contacts’ email addresses

Key Ingenium Partner Launches New Research Survey

One of Ingenium’s key commercial partners have launched a new research survey into content management strategies. Our client, who has worked with Ingenium on numerous occasions, is the UK & Ireland division of one of the world’s biggest producers of electronics and specialist technical equipment. Their repeated work with Ingenium has yielded consistently useful results.

Our partner’s latest research survey, investigating the latest thinking on content management and paperless data storage, was sent to key Digital, IT Management, Cyber Security, Finance and Procurement contacts throughout the UK Public Sector. The survey recently closed, with close to 200 responses representing the breadth of opinion across areas such as the NHS, Local Government, NDPBs and the Education sector from Primary Schools through to Universities. Such a range of responses will allow our client to gain a deep understanding of the latest working practices and opinions across the Public Sector.

Based on the survey responses, we will work in tandem with our client to build a survey report highlighting the key findings. As well as being a useful piece of collateral in itself for our client, the survey has acted as a lead generation exercise, while also allowing our client to position themselves as a thought leader in the area.

Cloud computing knowledge shared with Ingenium

Five years have passed since the UK government made it obligatory for Central Government departments to prioritise cloud-based solutions in their computing. However, newly-discovered statistics show that while awareness of this requirement is high, the actual uptake of cloud technology across Government and other Public Sector organisations has been surprisingly low.

Ingenium recently partnered with a leading software company specialising in network management tools and other solutions to promote these findings and more in a new thought-leadership piece. Having worked with Ingenium on a number of previous occasions, our partner has already seen a high level of interest in their whitepaper, shared through one of our respected Public Sector news brands. Promoted to Government and NHS decision-makers, Ingenium and our bespoke email client allowed us to target the specific job functions most likely to be interested in our partner’s findings.

The piece continues to be downloaded and read, allowing our partner to generate more leads and have more and better conversations about their own range of specialised IT solutions.
